Organize Your Sessions

Learn how to organize your Sessions in folders and sort them as you wish. Using folders and sorting helps you navigating your Sessions.

Folders

You can create folders and move the Sessions in them by drag & drop.

Create a New Folder

Note

The same steps are valid for both Tile and Grid view.

In the Sessions Page (see Entering the Sessions Page for more information), click on the New Folder button.

In the Create Folder window:

  1. Choose a Name for the folder.
  2. Choose an Icon for the folder. optional
  3. Choose a Color for the folder. Select either one of the default color or choose a shade from the drop-down list. optional

Tip

You can type in the drop-down list a HTML, Hexadecimal, RGB, and RGBA color code to specify a particular color shade.

Click on the Confirm button to create the folder (or Cancel to abort the action).

Note

The folder will appear in the position you are currently located in the Sessions Page's folders tree.

If click on New Folder in the Sessions Page's Home (:fa-fw fas fa-home-alt:), the folder appears in the Home.

If you click New Folder within a folder, the action creates the new folder in the folder you are positioned in the tree. (See Navigate the Sessions Page's Layout for more information about navigating the Sessions Page.)

Move Sessions in Folders

If you want to place a Session within a folder, drag the Session on the folder. The action moves the Session in the desired position.

If you are navigating the folder tree and you want to move a Session in the above level, drag the folder in the path on the folder's name you want to place the Session.

You can move a Session to the Sessions' Home at any time by dragging the Session on the :fa-fw fas fa-home-alt: icon in the folders tree's path.

Warning

You can't move a Session in a folder containing another Session with the same name. The Sessions Pages won't allow it and informs you that a Session with the same name exists in the destination folder already. In this case, change the Session's name before trying again.

Folders in *Sessions Page have the same behavior.

Delete a Folder

Warning

If you delete a folder, you will delete all Sessions and folder it contains.

You can delete a folder by clicking on the icon on its tile.

A window will ask for confirmation.

Click on Delete button to delete the folder and all its items. If you have changed your mind, click on Cancel button to abort the action.

Sorting

You can also sort your Sessions and folders inside the Sessions Page.

You find the sorting options in the upper-right corner of the Sessions Page.

You can choose through two buttons the sorting criterion and the Ascending/Descending order.

  1. Click on Order by button to open a drop-down list and choose the preferred sorting criterion. (By default, the sorting criterion is by Name.)

  2. Click on the ASC/DESC button to setup either the Ascending or Descending order.

Note

The Sessions Page sorts the folders in the list before the Sessions.

Set the sorting options you prefer for your Sessions.
