Delete Attachments
Users can remove attachments from the Attachments manager. See the section Accessing the Attachments Manager to learn how to open the Attachments.
Question
The Designer of the application might have disabled or restricted the possibility to delete attachments.
You will not see the Delete button () in this case.
Contact the application's Designer or your admin to know the conditions to upload one or more attachments.
Delete Individual Attachments or Folders¶
The users can delete individual attachments or folders from the Attachments manager.
Warning
Differently from operations with the rows, the action takes effect without the necessity to save the changes.

In the Attachments manager, click on the icon under the actions column to remove the file or folder from the row's attachments.

The Delete window asking for confirmation will appear. The window lists also the attachments to delete. Click Yes to complete the deletion. Click Cancel to abort the deletion
The action deletes the selected file or folder.
Delete Multiple Files or Folders¶
The users can delete multiple files all at once from the Attachments manager.
Warning
Differently from operations with the rows, the action takes effect without the necessity to save the changes.
- Select one or more files and folders

Click on the icon to delete all the chosen elements.

The Delete window asking for confirmation will appear. The window lists also the attachments to delete. Click Yes to complete the deletion. Click Cancel to abort the deletion
The action deletes all the selected elements.
Delete from the Preview Panel¶
You can delete a single file from the attachments' Preview panel. (See Preview Attachments and Files for more info about the Preview panel.)
Warning
Differently from operations with the rows, the action takes effect without the necessity to save the changes.
Click on the icon in the Actions bar of the Preview panel of the attachment you want to delete.
The action will make appear a window to confirm the deletion.
