What's the difference between Flat, Pay Per Use, Interactive, and Viewer users?
This section summarizes the different users' licenses that Delegates can assign.
Users can perform operations in their assigned eLegere's Workspace if they own a License. Delegates either Admin Delegate or Users & Workspaces Delegate can assign Licenses to users.
The License determines the what a user can do and the consumption plan to perform their actions
What a user can perform depends on whether the user is either Interactive or Viewer.
- Viewer: The user can launch applications only to read data (in accordance to the Workspace and the application's permissions). They can neither insert nor edit rows.
- Interactive: The user can launch applications and perform actions without any limits (in accordance to the Workspace and the application's permissions).
Users either have a Flat license to perform an unlimited number of actions in the Workspace or they consume credits for each action.
- Flat: The user performs an unlimited number of operations in the applications until their license expires.
- Pay per Use: The user consume credits to perform actions in the application. Each action has a cost in credits paid from the Workspace's reserve. The Workspace's reserve is common to all its users.
Delegates adds a credits amount to each Workspace for the Pay per Use users. Each Pay per Use user consumes the credits by performing the following actions:
